1.How do I register my pure or part bred Welsh pony in southern Ireland?
WPCS of Ireland are currently working with Leisure Horse Ireland, Galway and the DAFFM to have a full stud book of all pure and part bred ponies bred in Ireland. We are hoping that this will be operational within the next few weeks. Information will be posted on here when this is live.
2. Do I have to be a member to compete at the Welsh championship Show?
No. You can compete in all classes even if you are not a member, however the prize money in the Championships in Ring 1 is exclusive to members. Non members still get their rosettes and places.
3. What does my membership entitle me to?
The membership is currently €35 and includes one showing card. This will entitle that pony to be counted for the Annual Performance Awards . There are many categories and disciplines , points are given for showing, Show jumping, Dressage, Driving and Eventing.
4. How do I become a member?
Go into itsplainsailing website and then go to IAWPCS Membership and upload your details and payment.
5. How are my points collected by WPCS of Ireland?
They are collected on this website. Members are given a membership Number in order to access the Members Area. You just upload your points as you get them and this is stored on file by us.
